PHOTO TOOLKIT / ANDROID

Privacy Policy

Photo Toolkit helps you compress, resize and convert images locally on your Android device. This policy explains what happens to photos and files when you use the App.

Last updated: October 8, 2026

1. Introduction and scope

This Privacy Policy explains how Photo Toolkit (the “App”), an Android application published by LogicHours, handles information when you use it. The App package is com.logichours.photo_toolkit.

Photo Toolkit provides on-device tools to compress photos, resize photos and convert image formats. This policy applies to the current release of the App and its handling of information under LogicHours' control.

2. Photos selected through Android

When you choose an image, Photo Toolkit uses the Android system photo picker or an Android file-selection flow available on your device. The App receives access to the item or items you select for the requested operation; it does not need to browse your entire photo library for that operation.

3. Local image processing

Compression, resizing and format conversion are performed on your device. Image data is processed locally and temporarily in memory or in short-lived local working data needed to complete the operation. The current release does not upload your photos to a LogicHours-operated backend or cloud photo-processing service.

4. Original photos remain unchanged

Photo Toolkit creates a processed result rather than modifying the original photo selected by you. Your original remains unchanged unless you separately manage or delete it using Android or another app.

5. Saving new image copies

You decide whether to save a processed result. When you request a save, the App writes a new image copy to a location made available by Android storage APIs. The saved copy is controlled by you on your device and is not automatically uploaded to LogicHours.

6. Sharing through Android

If you choose to share a processed image, Photo Toolkit invokes Android's native share interface. You choose the receiving app or service. Information handled after you choose that destination is governed by the receiving app's own terms and privacy practices, not by LogicHours.

7. Temporary share files

To make a share action possible, the App may place a temporary share file in its application cache. The App cleans its own eligible share cache folders after 24 hours during subsequent sharing operations. We do not represent that a file disappears immediately, and a receiving app may retain a copy according to its own behavior.

8. Permissions

Permission behavior depends on your Android version and the action you request. On Android 7–9, the current release may request legacy storage write permission when needed to save a new image copy. Newer Android versions generally provide more limited, system-mediated access. You can review or revoke available permissions in Android settings, although doing so may prevent related save or selection actions from working.

9. Information we do not collect in the current release

The current release does not require a LogicHours account or login. It does not operate a photo-upload service, and it does not include advertising or analytics SDKs. LogicHours does not use Photo Toolkit to collect the contents of your photos through a backend. The App may still interact with Android and with an app you explicitly select for sharing, as described in this policy.

10. Android, Flutter and third-party components

Photo Toolkit uses Android and Flutter platform components and any supporting libraries required for its local features. These components help the App run on your device; they do not change the fact that image processing in the current release is performed locally. When you intentionally share a result, the selected receiving app or Android service may process information under its own privacy policy. LogicHours does not control information handled independently by that third party.

11. Data retention and your control

LogicHours does not retain a server-side photo library for Photo Toolkit. You control the original photos, saved result copies and App cache on your device. You can delete saved images using Android or your file-management tools, clear the App cache through Android settings, and uninstall the App to remove its local application data, subject to Android behavior and any copies kept by apps or services you chose to use.

12. Children's privacy

Photo Toolkit is not directed specifically at children. Because the App does not require an account and does not include advertising or analytics SDKs in the current release, it is designed to process images locally on the device. Parents or guardians should supervise device and sharing use as appropriate.

13. Security

The App is designed to keep image processing on your device and to use Android's system mechanisms for selecting, saving and sharing files. No software can guarantee absolute security. Keep Android and the App updated, use device security controls, and review the destination before sharing a file.

14. Changes to this policy

We may update this Privacy Policy when the App or its data practices change. The “Last updated” date at the top of this page will identify the latest revision. Continued use of the App after an updated policy is published means the updated policy applies from that date.
